With a focus on the design, installation, and upkeep of solar panels, Verdant Solar serves the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors with unwavering commitment.

As drivers of sustainable intralogistics, Jungheinrich made a key commitment in 2023 to phase out diesel trucks entirely and replace them with fully electric, lithium-ion powered trucks that emits an average of 52% less CO2e. Extending this commitment to sustainability, Jungheinrich Singapore and Jungheinrich Malaysia is partnering with APE Malaysia for The Environment Wins Twice campaign to contribute to the reforestation of Sabah. A tree will be planted for every electric forklift sold, steering towards a greener future in intralogistics!

Klorane is a French natural botanical personal care brand, offering hair care and baby care products infused with natural plant-based ingredients. Rooted in the philosophy of “One Plant, One Solution”, it originates from a French pharmacy and was born from a pharmacist’s passion for plants. The Klorane Botanical Foundation was established to protect plant heritage and the environment. In celebration of Klorane Malaysia’s 5th Anniversary, Klorane partnered with APE Malaysia for the “Grow Green with Klorane” campaign, planting one tree for every five comments on their campaign post in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary, Sabah. Thanks to public engagement, 200 trees now thrive, each symbolizing a green footprint on our planet; we can’t thank them enough!

Ambition is an Australian-headquartered recruitment company, founded in 1999 and with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and Kuala Lumpur. In 2023, they celebrated their 10th anniversary in Malaysia and decided to expand their purpose of Building Better Futures to include the natural world. By partnering with APE Malaysia, they hope to play their part in helping to reforest the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary and restore habitats for our beautiful native species. Each month they pledge to plant a tree for every candidate they place when they start their new employment. As they grow their careers with their clients, they hope the trees they plant on the candidate’s behalf will grow to be strong and sustainable, to be enjoyed by nature for generations to come.

Geo Harmony Solutions is a home environmental well-being solutions provider which has the vision of becoming the top health and environmental well-being home solutions provider in the South East Asia region. They specialize in precautionary assessment of man-made radiation levels from electronics (High frequency and Low frequency Electromagnetic Waves) and identifying geological disturbances (Earth’s terrestrial radiation) in the home environment according to the Standard of Building Biology Testing Methods (SBM-2015, Germany). In order to give back to mother earth, they are running a campaign from May 2023 to May 2024 whereby each sale generated from each customer will be used to contribute towards planting saplings in Borneo. #HealTheEarthWithGeoharmony

Wing Tai Fashion is a fashion and lifestyle retailer in Malaysia. Offering exceptional value, quality design, and exemplary customer service, its portfolio of fashion brands includes Furla, Mango, Cath Kidston, Nine West, Carter’s, Sergent Major, and DPAM. Since October 2022, Wing Tai Fashion has pledged its commitment to channeling the proceeds of paper bags sold in stores toward wildlife and environmental conservation efforts. Through this initiative, a total of 29 trees have been planted in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary.

EARTH HERO is a project by Hong Leong Bank that encourages the future generation to be environmentally conscious. This project is designed to engage young people’s interests towards helping save the forests and ecosystem in Malaysia while learning good money habits. Find out more about this project.

Zerin Properties Urus Harta Sdn Bhd aims to be a change-maker in the property industry. They aim to make a difference to our fellow Malaysians and adopt sustainable strategies toward improving the lives of our countrymen and women. The shifting tide is coming where the way people do business will change from the archaic profit-first mentality to the more sustainable future mentality. They believe that they must not merely depend on those in power to bring about change, but we must be the change. Their ESG Strategy is to create a meaningful impact, every day. Since November 2021, they pledged to plant 30 trees each month and have since added 420 trees to the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary.

A Little Thing is a one-of-a-kind online store that specialises in personalised gift boxes and DIY kits for loved ones, family, and friends. They also create corporate gift boxes and have partnered with us to make some of the boxes a little greener! They are running a campaign from August 2022 to August 2023 whereby a portion of the sales of their corporate gift sets will be contributed to planting saplings in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. To date, they have planted 50 trees with APE Malaysia!

Acer Gives Back To Earth is a campaign run by Acer Malaysia in collaboration with APE Malaysia. With every purchase of select Acer products, they will be planting a tree on behalf of their customers. From October 2022 to July 2023, they have committed to planting 2, 000 trees to restore fragmented forests in the Lower Kinabatangan. Join their #MakeYourGreenMark community!

Single Step Zero Waste is a zero-waste store that provides sustainable corporate gifting services. They pledged to help their corporate clients to combat plastic waste in their corporate gifting. To make corporate gifting sustainable, Single Step Zero Waste has taken the initiative to be part of the APE forest restoration project. For every successful corporate gifting order, part of the proceed will be contributed to planting trees on behalf of the corporate clients at the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. Start gifting in a sustainable way and add on to the 73 trees planted with them! 

As a medical and healthcare communications agency, Bridges M&C recognises that encouraging biodiversity through reforestation can increase our chances of discovering new medicines, and preserve the lifeblood of medicinal botany. Recently concluded on April 2023, the Bridges Plants Trees CSR campaign contributed a total of 600 trees to the Lower Kinabatangan in Sabah as well as their maintenance for four years. Bridges M&C will continue to plant 10 tree saplings and sponsor the four-year maintenance of these trees for every new contract signed with us from May 2023.

During the AXA Week for Good in June 2022, Affin General Insurance Berhad (AAGI) and AXA AFFIN Life Insurance Berhad (AALI) pledged to plant 400 trees in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. The tree-planting activity is the key highlight for the sustainability week held annually by AXA, where it was packed with various programmes which promoted their two sustainability pillars―climate change and biodiversity amongst their employees worldwide. 

MKA Cabinet Concept provides full house cabinetry customisation using low formaldehyde and eco-friendly materials. From June to August 2022, they are running a special campaign in conjunction with Parent’s Day. For every RM10,000 spent on cabinetry customisation, 1 tree will be planted in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary.

Being a brand that supports nature and biodiversity, Clarins is committed to responsible beauty that supports many aspects that involves environment, social, economic responsibilities and permanent innovations into their skincare and services. One of many examples; Clarins works closely with local communities around the world to harvest and collect raw plant ingredients for their products in accordance with fair trade principles. Clarins ran a campaign and planted 800 trees on behalf of their customers from 4-30 April 2022!

As a pioneering green skincare brand in Malaysia, Yindi Natural strives to provide skincare products that are natural, vegan, cruelty free and earth friendly. They launched their business with a long-term goal of being carbon neutral. They not only ensure their ingredients are ethically and sustainably sourced, but have also taken their green initiatives a notch up from the day they launched by actively partaking in nature conservation efforts as well as collaborating with single use plastic upcycling efforts. They have committed to planting trees with the profits made from their sales. Since November 2021, 32 trees have been added to the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary thanks to their support.

Pioneering the influencer and content marketing industry in Malaysia, Nuffnang has worked with hundreds of brands and influencers, executing thousands of campaigns over the last 10 years. Since May 2021, Nuffnang together with their influencers and also clients has partnered with us to plant trees. To date, 1,722 trees have been added thanks to their contribution!

Using only natural ingredients, the Sabun Company has a wide range of handcrafted soaps. There’s something for everyone! To show their support for our reforestation project, they have started their own initiative ‘Grow A Tree with Us’. For every bar of soap sold, a portion will be kept aside and contributed to planting trees with APE Malaysia as their partner! Through their efforts, 11 trees have been added to the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary.

happi.kloth is an eco-friendly store that offers biodegradable Swedish cloths. They advocate for a sustainable lifestyle and their green ways can be seen throughout their products. Their packaging is made up of environmentally safe material such as kraft boxes, cellulose tape and plantable cards. To add on to their environmentally friendly ways, they are partnering with us to plant more trees! Through a portion of their sales that was contributed, 100 trees has been planted on their behalf in Borneo.

BMW Financial Services has committed to supporting our reforestation work in Borneo. For every sale (funded contract) of their plug-in hybrid vehicle (BMW 330e M Sport, BMW 530e M Sport, BMW 740Le xDrive and BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport) sold from May to July 2021, 5 trees were planted on behalf of the buyer at the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. This is in line with one of the company’s sustainability goals to create a tangible social impact in Malaysia. Co-founded by two Malaysian mamas, Boss Mama provides solutions for busy mothers on-the-go looking for maternity apparel that is both functional and convenient, without skimping on style. Their hero product, The Real-Support Bra, is perfect for nursing and pumping mamas. In conjunction with World Environment Day on 5th June 2021, for every purchase of an Emerald Green Real-Support Bra, a tree was be planted. At the end of their campaign, 50 saplings were planted in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary!

A company with team members worldwide, NoFrillsCloud provides Secure Managed Cloud Hosting solutions and has committed themselves to running their business in the most environmentally friendly way. To offset the carbon footprint of their operations since June 2021,  they have pledged to plant 10 trees monthly with APE Malaysia and have also offered their clients to do so through their green cloud hosting programme.

Brainbow Kids launched their Brainbow Box in April 2021. To give back to Mother Nature, a portion of the sales of each box would be donated to us and we’ll plant trees on their behalf. To date, 3 trees have been planted through their efforts. Their mission is to educate children about social emotional intelligence through art; to be kind, empathetic and brave amongst many. What an honour to plant trees on behalf of Brainbow Kids!

with love, Tasnim is a fashion company that dreams of helping to shape the future of sustainable fashion. They have launched a campaign to work towards their dream by donating 15% of the proceeds made from the sales of their shopping bags towards planting more trees in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. To date, 20 trees have been planted on their behalf!

Adania & co are currently running an environmental campaign called ‘Beleaf in yourself, Grow with us‘. For 14 months (October 2020 to December 2021), a contribution will be made to us for every purchase from their stores! To date, 86 trees have been planted in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. Adania & co advocating sustainability and ethically sourced products; we’re glad to be able to partner with them and plant trees on their behalf.

Borneo Candle Studio came up with a very unique way of celebrating their 1st and 2nd year anniversary in November 2020 and November 2021! A portion of their proceeds were channeled into giving back to the environment by planting 162 trees with us. They’ve inspired us with their environmentally friendly practices and passion for making the world a better place. In their words, one tree at a time!

In support of the reforestation initiative, Garden Gumbira gave away some of the profits made from their uniquely designed t-shirt sales in October 2020. Through their efforts, 15 more trees were planted along the Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. Besides having a creative side, their founder also has green fingers and a beautiful garden of her own, inspiring us to plant more edibles on a personal level!

In 2020, Good Travel, a Swedish organization included climate compensation as part of their project fees for each volunteer who signs on to their programme. They calculate the amount of CO2 emitted by the flights from Sweden to their travel destination and the cost to compensate for that amount. The funds are then channeled to APE Malaysia for trees to be planted. Thus far, we have planted  176 trees, offsetting 55 tons of carbon dioxide for Good Travel and their volunteers.

In 2019, PTT Outdoor started a #iLeaveNoTrace campaign whereby part of the sales of their merchandise went towards our habitat restoration efforts along the Kinabatangan River. With their contribution, we planted 100 tree saplings!
