Well run programme by APE staff. Honestly they were the stars of the trip. I always felt they had the safety of our kids at heart and were passionate about inspiring them.
The most interesting thing I learnt was the intricacies and complexities of conservation – like how it affects the local people. The education coordinators are extremely knowledgeable and imparted knowledge very clearly and efficiently to us. Very very grateful!
I feel your organisation met our MAD objectives on every level, it engaged students to think about one area of the world where human activity appears on so many levels to have destroyed habitats and ecosystems, it was hands on experiential learning and students were led through a series of steps to look at how they could MAD in their own lives. Well run, managed, resourced, rewarding, MAD !
A meaningful, kind-spirited trip. I really like it!
This programme made me more aware about my actions and the consequences of them, especially to endangered species.
It was an amazing experience seeing animals that are not in Australia and helping the environment. I would recommend it to anyone.
The highlight of the programme was experiencing the local community, seeing animals and birds in the wild, boat trips (I could have done that for hours) and planting trees – very satisfying! Thanks for a fantastic week!
This programme improved my understanding of wildlife conservation and of what we can do to help. It have me a sense of hope for the conservation of the orangutans.
My favorite activity was going on the boat to see and learn about the different animals. I think overall the programme was a great experience, thanks to the leaders!
